Fuel surcharge

The price of diesel is a central cost factor for a transport company and thus directly influences transport prices. At the same time, the price of diesel is subject to major fluctuations.

To ensure that this cost driver can be invoiced according to current market prices, the transport price includes a variable fuel component (fuel surcharge).

This variable fuel portion is levied on the basis of Index ASTAG.
